Home&Office is located in Florence, the elegant city of northern Italy. The italian architect Silvia Allori takes a surprising project with an apartment from the 70’s that turns into her new home and source of creation. Like all her projects, the architect leaves us excited with her soft creativity that can not shout louder.
Home&Office, a house, an office or a brainstorming?
Home&Office is an explosion of simple, dynamic and attractive and new ideas. A look inside the space is like a magnet of creative sensations that you can not take off.
Home&Office is organized in a single environment without partitions. Or rather with partitions that come and go, that are disassembled, that fold or that are hidden. The house meets the basic needs to live. The atmospheres are distributed in a toilet, a kitchen hidden behind a sweet curtain and a multipurpose room where to sleep, work, talk or rest.
Home&Office is dressed in white, wood and a fun furniture puzzle. Is this small piece of furniture with cushions for sitting, eating, thinking or sleeping? The holes in the wall transform over time, move the shelves and provide a dynamic of change, illusion and motivation.
The false ceiling, or rather, these solid white rectilinear pieces, seek a single path to decision feelings. These rectangular shaped sheets brings the luminaires and a sense of clarity, light and direction towards an unlimited imagination. Home&Office is an example of the new home offices that are increasingly used by artists and designers who embark on their own journey.
