House in Midorigaoka is in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. Tato architects design a single house that dazzles in this residential district of traditional buildings. Purity, straight lines and glowing white lead in the simplicity with which this house conveys sensitivity.
House in Midorigaoka, what is the appropriate height to each ambience?
House in Midorigaoka is distributed on two floors. On the ground floor the more public rooms like the kitchen and the living room are organized. The second floor solves the bedrooms and services, is the quietest part of the house and enjoy natural light from the skylights.
Designers have a pretty careful with white and wood, the two materials chosen to provide light, warmth and spaciousness in the spaces. The meeting of four types of soils recites a poem. Ceramic tile collects the cold street entrance, the grey bares raw material, the white performs pure and clean and light wood is cozy, nice and close.
From the sidewalk, the huge square window of House in Midorigaoka extends his arms to welcome us, go ahead.
