Drawer is a collection designed by Seiji Oguri and Yohei Oki, Id-Inc studio, and produced by the collaboration between two brands whose work to the perfection both material protagonists of this collection: TE works with manufactured metal; and the second collaborator is ke shi ki, a company that dedicates to the work of the leather also with special dedication in the manufactured process.
Drawer is the union of noble materials: a warm material like leather that covers and protects a cold material as the aluminium.
This collection speaks directly about the values and the care that these persons have on having treated materials as noble as the leather and the metal. It is possible to estimate when we observe these products with thin lines and soft textures.
The collection treats of a few casings of aluminium that they slip in its case of leather. This small movement turns into a possession for the tact when softly this light and cold piece of polished aluminium moves without problems out of the hot case of leather. The leather has been treated expressly in order that this movement is soft and easy. The combination of materials and of soft gestures shows a harmony in day after day of this object.
Three pieces that shape the collection are objects that depart from the same rectangular form, but with different uses: cardcase, pen case and mirror.
The first one has a hole in the cajita of aluminium to be able to open easily the cardcase and meet on an elegant gesture the card in the middle of a meeting. The pen case has been thought to be piled up unitedly by the cardcase and the mirror, and to be more practical to go from the office to marries easily.
The mirror, the sleeve not only has the function of protect the mirror, but it does support for the user while it is fixing up.
