Duas Portas Townhouse, Porto

by | 15 August 2017 | architecture

Within a cozy atmosphere, unique architecture, and excellent location, Duas Portas Townhouse is a family project, which is born out of the true “portuense” (people of Porto) desire to host at home.

The restoration of an old house, not shying away from bringing a taste of modernity, gives way to a building that has not forgotten the context in which it is inserted in Porto.

With wide-open views, Duas Portas is situated directly in front of the mouth of the Douro River, a unique location, given its tranquillity and proximity to the sea, and 10 minutes away from the city center.

With a total of eight rooms, all of them unique, four rooms look out toward the river and sea, while the rest overlook the garden.

Architecture of Duas Portas allows for the connection between past and present, offering tradition with comfort.

The familiarity of Duas Portas Townhouse combines, great location, architecture and detail in perfectly designed spaces.

The decoration of Duas Portas Townhouse follows the same line, combining design pieces with furniture exclusively designed for the project.

You’ll find attention to detail, from the colors and textures to the materials, creating harmony and simplicity as a whole.

At the end of the series of spaces that make up the house, one is delightfully surprised to find: a peaceful garden, offering a well-positioned retreat within the city, inviting guests to stop, breath, think and feel.

Breakfast of Duas Portas takes place in a beautifull dining room, making the guests feel at home.

Also, the detailed window and the combination of white colors and wood, makes this space unique and confortable.

Finally, with various rooms and external spaces, Duas Portas Townhouse is ideal for parties, weddings, meetings and gathers, as well as other events. Come and see it by yourself.
