Another year goes away and another year begins, but the design does not end. We start 2017 with lots of energy and we are eager to attend the best events of design, architecture and photography More with Less. We want you to enjoy them too, so keep track of these January Events.
París, 20 – 24 January 2017
Silence is the theme of the next 2017 edition of Maison & Objet Paris, which will recontextualize the concept and show current trends in the sector. It will also show the M&O Paris Designer of the Year, Pierre Charpin and the Rising Talents section, who will pay homage to the creativity that has emerged in the UK thanks to the London Design Festival and the London Design Biennale.
Cologne, 16 – 22 January 2017
The first exhibition of interior design of the year presents the trends that will shape the sector during 2017 with sections as varied as Talents, Textiles, Studios, Comfort, etc. IMM Cologne brings together furniture and accessories for every style and every need, from the basics to luxury items.
Berlín, 27 – 29 January 2017
As in previous editions, Desin-Börse Berlin brings together designers, distributors of vintage objects and collectors from all over Europe to showcase their best creations for design lovers, gallery and museum owners. Art Deco, Bauhaus, GDR design, design innovarion… All styles have a place in this fair in the heart of Berlin, which this year increases its capacity.
Oslo, 25 – 28 January 2017
Oslo Design Fair (ODF) is Norway’s largest trade fair, with an important position in Scandinavia. This time it focuses on three areas: Talent, Tradition and Trends. Here you can find the best of the new Norwegian designers, products in connection with the Norwegian crafts and the latest trends in the country. Really worth visiting if you are interested in Nordic Style.
Stockholm, 18 – 21 January 2017
Formex, like other Nordic fairs like Northmodern, is one of the greatest shows of nordic interior design that are held twice a year since 1960. With more than 800 exhibitors with products of interior design, fashion and accessories, both national and international. In addition, it hosts the Formex Nova Award, which is awarded to the Nordic Designer of the Year, to promote high quality design of new designers. This year has been awarded to Nick Ross.
