Feria Habitat 2018 Valencia returns to Feria Valencia from September 18th to 21th: this edition has already exceeded the last year’s exhibitors and almost all of the planned exhibition space is already occupied. Sectors such as lighting, contemporary design and new talent enhance its presence in this edition, which promises to be a success and already has 90% of the planned space occupied.
One of the most important novelties of the new edition of Habitat 2018 is the ‘After nude’ space: after 16 editions of ‘nude’, the space reserved for young designers, this year there will be a space destined to welcome already established designers who have more than 10 years of experience. The prototypes of the designers who exhibit for the first time will be combined with the creations of consecrated artists: Habitat becomes a window to the world for all designers.
This new area ‘After nude’ has already opened the registration period: designers who want to be present must send a ‘briefing’ with a summary of their professional career, their designs and the companies with which they have collaborated with to firstname.lastname@example.org. The requirements to exhibit in the ‘nude’ space are the same of all years: send a project that will be evaluated by a Professional Jury.
In Habitat 2018 this jury will be formed by Pepe Cosín, new dean of the College of Interior Designers of the Comunitat Valenciana (CDICV); Pilar Tendero, responsible for the Domus magazine in Spain, the designers Cutu Mazuelos and Eva Prego, from Stone Designs studio; and the recently awarded company with the National Design Award, Actiu, representing the business sector.
